i don't have any 'rules or wishes' besides the same desire as you have ... to be allowed to be yourself. sometimes people need space ... being a good friend is realizing that sometimes ... backing off is what is best, and it may have nothing to do with you. but pushing ... never helps. neither does lying or being an attention hog. your brother is wise for his age ... listen to him.
